My husband and I bought our new house a year ago. And (of course) out of excitement, I wanted to go out and buy all new furnishings. But, family and friends kept telling me to wait and purchase things little-by-little. So, I took their advice and throughout the year, we bought various items.Last weekend, we purchased a new area rug and I immediately developed a dislike for our old dining room set. So, today I turned into Martha Stewart and re-upholstered the chairs. I really enjoy decorating, but I ended up doing a better job than I expected. Check out the "before" and "after" picture!
