1 Bride + 1 Groom = 2 featured stories

In a past blog entry, I wrote about Sam and Natasha's lovely wedding held at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.

Well, in addition to my blog write-up, the couple's wedding was recently featured 2 other times. One included them making the cover of Latino Bride and Groom Magazine, and having a 2-page feature in the magazine.

Secondly, the couple's wedding was also featured here on LA Style Unveiled's wedding planning website.

I'm so happy for them, and it's very special seeing their wedding memories captured in print.

Here are a few pictures from the magazine:

Good Question

When I saw mug, I just had to buy it! Too often we stop ourselves from attempting to try something before we even begin (mainly due to a fear of failure). When starting my business a few years ago, I had to push aside those same negative thoughts... and I'm so glad that I did!

So, I ask, what would YOU do if you knew you could not fail?

Now, instead of just thinking about it... DO IT! Follow your dreams.

Lois & Joe

Lois and Joe were married this past April at the beautiful Prado in Balboa Park. Their use of chocolate brown and green tied in well with the hardwood floors and lovely chandeliers inside of the grand ballroom. That day, I had the opportunity to work with a great husband and wife photography team (Sutography). Take a look at a few photos from Lois and Joe's wedding day...

Mycah & Matthew

Yesterday, I assisted Mycah and Matthew with coordinating their very intimate waterfront ceremony. The couple lives in Texas, but chose to host their wedding in San Diego on the beach behind the historic Hotel Del Coronado. 12 family members and friends joined the couple as they exchanged vows in front of this beautiful beach backdrop.

New & Improved

As the saying goes... "the only thing constant is change". And, that's exactly the case with What A Wedding! We are happily making some wonderful improvements. And we've started the process with a new logo... ya like? (click to enlarge)

Stay tuned as we will soon be updating our website and all marketing materials, as well.

Photo Shoot Sneak Peek

For the second year, I had the opportunity to participate in a tablescape photoshoot for San Diego Style Weddings Magazine. The photo shoot took place at the lovely La Costa Resort & Spa. I was lucky enough to be paired up with one of my favorite florists, Tessilk Flowers and had a beautiful pewter colored linen and coordinating napkins custom made by Elegant Events and stationery made by FRESH Invitation Studio.

The picture above is just a sneak peek of the table. But, in order to see the full design, be sure to pick up a copy of magazine when it hits stands in October '09!
