Winter Wedding Cake Inspiration

During this season, I can't help but to think often about winter wedding ideas (possibly because I was a winter bride myself).  However, a winter theme doesn't have to only mean the use of poinsettia, snowflakes or evergreen trees. 

These gold and white cakes show a few ways that you can still imply a "winter wedding" theme, without being too literal or cliche'.

Another option... Gold accented cupcake-tinis!!!

Red Winter Wedding Tablescape

Does this tablescape say "elegant winter wedding" or what?  The red rose centerpieces next to the candle sticks of varying heights, all situated on white linens is just beautiful!
